Shops at Riverwoods Plaza

Provo, Utah

The proposed plaza replaced existing vehicle circulation and parking. The asphalt surfaces were removed and over 100,000 square feet of Belgard pavers were installed. New raised planters were installed to provide landscaping and seating. A large pavilion for outdoor events with splash pads, fire features, and retail kiosks are just a few of the many enhanced features that were proposed in the site planning design.

Personal Residence

Lindon, Utah

The proposed site was presented with house design to show the client the orientation of the home on the property. Existing orchards were shown with future shop and other features desired by the client. Driveway, parking, hardscape, patios, bike path, and retaining walls were located on the site allowing the client to visualize the proposed arrangement of their site.

Aldara Apartment

Saratoga Springs, Utah

This is an example of a refined site plan that was colored for presentation for a city planning meeting. The CAD drawing was developed with the architect and civil engineering team. The site drawing was brought to life with colored markers to help clearly identify the many different features located on the proposed project.

Multi Housing complex

Springville, Utah

This is an example of a site plan analysis showing the number of housing units that can be located on the site and the proposed arrangement of the building structures, driveways, parking, and landscape. This becomes the starting point of future refinement as the civil engineer and city planning and zoning departments become more involved.

Provo Beach Resort

Provo, Utah

This existing two story retail space was transformed into a activity center with food services, seating, restrooms, carousel, party rooms, stage and seating, ropes course, gaming center, indoor surfing, bowling, golf simulators, croquet course, play systems and several other features. The preliminary space plan shows the relationship of the proposed elements.

Aldara Apartments

Saratoga Springs, Utah

This is an example of an apartment unit space plan showing room sizes with proposed furniture and appliance layouts. The space plan allows the client to understand the relationship of all elements including doors, windows, fixtures and furniture.

Proposed Climbing Gym Facility

This space plan shows the proposed allowance of square footage for each of the designated spaces. The plan indicates the arrangement and relationship of each element in the building. Bathrooms and other supporting facilities are designed and sized appropriately for the proposed project.

Proposed Residential Project

This space plan indicates the layout of rooms, furniture, and other fixtures. Stairs, doors and window locations are shown allowing the client to study the proposed traffic patterns and circulation throughout the home. The proposed outdoor patio and courtyard are located between the house and the garage.

Wolf Creek

Woodland, Utah

This is an example of a client’s request for a barn at their vacation home site that could function as a home for two horses, storage for recreation equipment, snow removal equipment, and the utility entrance for the complex. This was the first concept images created for the client.

This is an example of a multiuse commercial retail project. This image represents the proposed floor plan with the proposed facade facing the street.

This image was developed with space plans to help the client visualize the creativity of the sharp roof lines to give the structure a very unique façade.

UIS Office Building

Lindon, Utah

Once space planning was completed for the project, this image was produced to show the client the basic concept of the building exterior façade. The final product was completed very similar to this first schematic design.

This conceptual rendering illustrates a new entry feature on an existing Park City vacation home. Allowing the client to see the geometry of the completed project allows them to understand the proposed concept in a three-dimensional form.

Remodel floor plan illustrating addition areas and remodel areas. The existing formal living room was used as the master bathroom and the existing family room was used as a media/den/study where these empty nesters could spend most of their free time relaxing. The new kitchen and dining arrangement will accommodate large family gatherings for Christmas and Thanksgiving. The master suite was added and designed to give them single level living as the aged in their home.

New exterior on an existing Park City home

The Springville Rivoli Theater. The Main street historic theater in the heart of Art City is currently is disrepair and in need of renovation. Alan Shurtliff has donated all of his time and talent on behalf of Pontis Architectural Group to assist in the design and fundraising of the historic project.
